Hey team,
Sorry I’ve not been in touch – this whole pandemic has sent us reeling a little. Mainly because at this time of year we would normally be super busy having the best time in the snow with you guys… as a result I’ve been twiddling my thumbs a little trying to work out a plan of action.
Our chalet owners (Claude and Roselyne) have been super good this winter and because of them HOFNAR is completely fine and will be operating a summer programme bursting at the seams and of course we’ll be back in Morzine next winter (21/22) brighter and louder than ever before.
I am SO gutted that this winter isn’t on. Typically, the Alps seem to be having the best snow in 20yrs and it’s SO sad the lifts aren’t turning and we are not there. However, let’s not dwell on the the doom and gloom.
This summer we are running some new trips; including sailing in the Med, canoeing & camping on the River Wye, jet boating in South Wales and doing the UK’s highest 3 peaks in 3 days… it’s gonna be brill. [take a look]
We are also (Covid allowing) hoping to have our (delayed) 10th birthday party in London on the 26th June – there’s going to be a band, there’s going to be dancing and we are going to PARTY!! (Do I sound confident? Surely Covid will let us??!!)
Dates for next winter (21/22) are about to be released – so if you think you’ve got a big enough crew and you would like to take over one of our chalets exclusively get in touch asap.
At the beginning of the season we are going to do ‘Wednesday to Wednesday’ because Christmas & New Year’s falls on the weekends, and then from January we’ll be back to our regular Saturday changeovers.
Bookings for next winter will open at the end of this month with 10% off and £0 initial deposit, so there’s no excuse!
I am SO excited to see you again, actually don’t be offended but I’ll be excited to see anyone again. LOLs! This Groundhog Day thing is now getting tiresome and I/we NEED to get out and do stuff.
Do come join us on our summer adventures (check out the growing calendar), do get next winter planned, do keep your chin up, do keep smiling, do go wash your hands… we’ll soon be free of this virus thing.
LET’S GO!
Daniel
