Surf’s up dude!

These AWESOME weekends away are perfect whether you are looking to learn to surf, or are already a pro surfer.

  • 25th October – Halloween special **ONLY CAMPING SPACES NOW AVAILABLE**
  • Dates for 2020 out soon

Join our Friday night surf bus – or make your own way – and head down to Cornwall to catch some waves.

By day we surf the gorgeous bay of Mawgan Porth or tackle some coasteering (optional), by night we camp and party. (You can stay in a caravan if you prefer)

No need to take any time off work – we’ll have you back in town on Sunday evening. A blast down to the coast is the perfect antidote to hectic city life.

We run these trips with the help of the ridiculously good bunch of guys and gals at KingSurf surf school.

Each morning we have a group surf lesson, split into several classes of different abilities. (If you would rather a private lesson, or don’t need a lesson let us know and we can charge you accordingly.)

The afternoons are yours – surf more, hike on the cliffs, do go-karting, relax at the pub, go shopping in Newquay, or tackle the inflatable assault course.

In the evenings we’ll have a barbecue or eat at the amazing Scott & Babs woodfired restaurant at the campsite, or perhaps Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant.

Every time we go things are slightly different depending what is going on and what people want to do.

We can promise hearty breakfasts, bonfires, live music, barbecues, surfing and gallons of Cheddar Valley cider – these are set to be the BEST surfing weekends of the year!

Typical itinerary:

Friday 6pm Climb aboard the HOFNAR minibus at Hammersmith for the 5.5hr drive down to Mawgan Porth.

Saturday: Breakfast cooked up by your HOFNAR host before joining the gang from Kingsurf for your intro to surfing! Spend the afternoon honing your skills, chilling by the beach or let’s go coasteering! Dinner could be a barbecue or woodfired pizza at the campsite, local fish’n’chips, or we could head over to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant. A few drinks back at the campsite? Or should we hit Newquay?

Sunday: After more bacon butties, cereal and gallons of tea, we head back to the water and we’ll definitely stand up on that board today. Leave in the afternoon to be back in London for around 10pm.

Our bank holiday three-day trips mean an extra night before we head back to the city on Monday. Look out for the special bank holiday trips, Chill at the Mill festival, Progressive surf special, Stonehenge sightseeing and Boardmasters festival
