The Thames is a beautiful river, a very different beast to that you see in central London.

Either meet us at Paddington station to catch the 9:38am train or meet us in Henley upon Thames.

We’ll pick up our Canadian style 2 person canoes in Henley at about 11am and spend the day leisurely paddling to Marlow. Maybe we’ll stop and swim… as ever with our trips – the exact plan is shaped by those who come along.

[You can of course bring your own craft, but will have to work out your own transportation / return at the end of the day]

It is 9.5miles and is not a technical paddle, so suitable for all… but you should have a mildly good level of fitness.

This will be a cracking day out – we’ll picnic by the river and we’ll end in a pub.
