We run all kinds of active trips; days out & weekends away in the UK, week long adventures in France.
During the summer you’ll find us hiking, biking, surfing and getting up to all kinds of stuff staying in a variety of different accommodation.
When winter comes, we head to Morzine in the French Alps (and sometimes other resorts) for skiing and snowboarding trips, staying in one of our cosy chalets.
Our social, fun, laid-back trips are particularly good for solo travellers – but we also welcome couples and small groups of friends.

Summer 2024
This summer our programme sees us running all kinds of trips from surfing weekends in Cornwall to Activity & Adventure holidays in the French Alps, and of course don’t miss our FREE summer party in London.
Throughout the summer we head to Mawgan Porth in Cornwall. It’s a ridiculously lovely part of the world with glorious sandy beaches and rugged coastline, so take a weekend break from city life and breath…
Our summer UK ‘adventure’ programme has something for everyone.
From simple hiking day trips in the South East to canyoning in North Wales or wakeboarding in the Lake District. SOOOO good.
This summer we are going back to Hossegor in SW France for a week of surfing, chilling and a bit of salsa dancing!
We have hired a villa with it’s own pool – this is going to be the best week of the summer!
There’s not a better way to round off the summer than to island hop the crystal clear blue waters of the Med.

Super-fun, laid-back, value-for-money, social and a brilliant way to meet new like-minded ‘snow buddies’
In the winter we’re based in Morzine in the French Alps which is a brilliant little town.
With easy access to the Portes du Soleil ski area – it has a strong snow record and so is the perfect spot for all levels of skier / rider.
Take a look at our awesome chalets … we have 3 different chalets, all really well located in Morzine.
Chalets Kaila & Hubert are open to all. Skade is reserved for those in their 20s and 30s.
If you want to learn how to ski or snowboard, maybe you are just a bit ‘rusty’ – then check out our “Beginners and Improvers” trips.
Lessons, lift pass, kit hire are all included in the price. Everybody is in the same boat, but watch out – this sport is ADDICTIVE!
You can join any of our trips as a solo traveller and for a whole host of reasons.
Most people come along on their own (at least for the first time) – our trips are a brilliant way to meet new, active, like-minded people, like you!
We get a good mix of skiers / snowboarders, guys / gals. Usually there are about 12 guests on each trip and we belly laugh every day.
The HOFNAR staff are very much part of the gang, we’re a bit different to the regular chalet holiday!
