The Austrian Trips
Hofnar > The Austrian Trips

31 Jan – 7 Feb 2026 or 7 – 14 Feb 2026

Now this is VERY exciting!!

We obviously absolutely bloody love Morzine…. but we do want to see a few other places. Fancy joining us in Mayrhofen, Austria? Let’s go!!

Mayrhofen is a traditional Austrian town located in the Ziller valley – it has a superb ski area (including the Hintertux glacier) and is held up there as having some of the best aprés ski in the alps.

For the 31st Jan – This week we are taking over The Rubin Appartment, super nice and we even have our own sauna!

For the 7th Feb – We have made friends with CityHostel right in the centre of town. A no frills, but clean and comfortable place – perfect. Fear not though, no massive dorms 🤣

Most of the rooms do have ‘Austrian twins’ – this is a double bed with two individual mattresses and two individual duvets. Either take your own room, bring a pal or else we’ll room you up with somebody of the same sex – but you should know you sleep pretty close to each other! It’s an Austrian thing…

There’s a simple breakfast each morning, in the evenings you’ll head into town and there’s a whole range of places to grab food.
